About Joline Snoddon
I love my job, no truly! I graduated the Massage Therapy program at Georgian College in 2012 and have been Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario since December of 2012. I started my practice in January of 2013 at a Physiotherapist clinic in North Bay. I began my self employment in May of 2014 in a private training studio on Main Street and have treated an upwards amount of 550 people since.
My husband and I both grew up in North Bay and have moved back to be closer to family and pursue our careers.
My treatment preference is a moderate to deep pressure massage on specific areas of concern. That being said everyone has a unique pain tolerance threshold and with open communication I can adjust any treatment to assure you receive the massage you're looking for. I strive to work within your tolerance but also use enough pressure to stretch and manipulate muscular tissue for optimal relief.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
Deep tissue pressure is achieved with proper warming of the muscles and slow increase in pressure over time. It is beneficial for engaging deeper problem tissues as muscles have multiple layers.
Is the same as all other massage treatment with special considerations. I treat using a body cushion that allows pregnant mothers in their first and second trimesters to comfortably lay on their stomachs during massage. Treatment focus is geared towards Mom's aches and pains.

Quite often after your first treatment my patients will ask how often they should be coming in for treatments. Individuals vary but I generally suggest once a month for maintaining muscle tissue health and more often if they're seeking specific pain relief (typically not more than once per week).
